Is this the same as the Green Lake East Beach? Check before you go-- sometimes, the beach is closed for swimming due to algae or other yucky- water issues. Dog friendly, but Seattle doesn't allow dogs to go in the water. Dogs must be on a leash too. Parking is very limited. Some handicap parking (but rarely available on a sunny day). Extra star for handicapped access to the water (up to, anyway).

A bit small and muddy, but still nice. Just make sure to bring a pair of goggles because it is hard to see underwater here. Also, there's a public bathroom here for you to change in along with a diving board at the deeper end which a lifeguard has to test you in order to access.
