I adore going in every week to work with such fabulous instructors who know both when to push you a bit but also understand when that isn’t appropriate. They really go at your pace, they meet you at where you’re at, and the love and compassion the instructors feel or their students shines through. I hope to continue coming to Guardian Way for years to come, it’s because a beautiful supportive community for me.

I'm 46, and have been trained in Martial Arts since my youth. Initially receiving some training in karate and Judo, in my teens a switched to Tae Kwon Do and trained until age 29/30 ish, achieving 3rd Dan Black Belt. Due to work, I had to put that part of my life on hold. Flash forward 17 years, I have two kids (ages 7 and 9) and determined that they were in need of the mental and physical discipline and conditioning that martial arts provide. I researched a number of schools, and decided to allow the kids to take a free initial class at Chung's...It was a great decision , and I encourage everyone (adult and child) to consider Chung's Martial Arts training facility. The owners/operators of the school are professional, personable, trustworthy, and effective in providing all levels of students the instruction and training they need to advance themselves in their program, as well impressing upon the students the mental and physical skills and strength needed to advance themselves in everyday life. They have different instructors, each with their own unique approach, philosophies, and focus , which I believe is critical to the full development of a student. One instructor may conduct a class specifically focusing on tae kwon do, whereas another instructor's philosophy is to incorporate a variety of martial arts disciplines. The combination of approaches is what I believe is necessary to the mental and physical development of a true martial artist. They are great with the kids, have an after school program, where they actually pick the kids up , and offer a summer camp program, which I just signed my kids up for. I found Chung's to be so impressive, and knowing the profound impact a martial arts system of learning can provide , that I couldn't sit idly by, and I enrolled myself to train with my kids, which will allow us to continue to grow, and travel the journey that accompanies martial arts together. I absolutely recommend Chung's to anyone interested in a Martial Arts program for themselves, or their kids.
