Went to Gypsy Kitchen for Buckhead restaurant week and had a great experience! The service was excellent. Our waitress was very attentive. We went early (5pm) so that it wouldn't be as noisy and we could enjoy the meal. We did their pre-fix 3 course meal for $60/person: lamb kebob skewers, grilled ribeye steak for dinner and the basque berry cheesecake. The lamb kabob skewers were extremely flavorful, moist and came with a yogurt dip and pickled onion on the side. I ordered the ribeye medium and it came with potatoes and brussel sprouts. The steak had a little bit more fat than I would have liked but I suppose it was needed as the meat was tender with a bit of char on top. The compond butter on top gave it a bit of a kick. If you like your steak traditional with just salt and pepper then ask for the compond on the side but if you want flavored meat then it was great! The potatoes and brussel sprouts were perfectly seasoned as well. The best part of the 3 course meal was the basque cheesecake. It was AMAZING: creamy texture, right amount of sweetness, and melt in your mouth. Overall, an excellent meal and the portions were worth the $60/person. Had to give the atmosphere a 4 star as there were people at the bar area near the inside booth we were in that got a bit too routy and it took away from the overall meal experience for us. Would highly recommend others to try it if you haven't been.

We had a girls night out last week for one of our birthdays. We had reservations for the rooftop. They seated us and forgot about us for a little while so it did delay us for our next reservation. We didn't let any bad timing spoil our night and they took care of us for the delay so that was appreciated. The food was phenomenal and the cocktails were really good. Definitely planning the next trip to buckhead with some other friends. There are a few small plates this crowd didn't want to try that I'm still thinking about.

In the quaint quadrangle of Buckhead village, presiding over it all from its perch on the top floor, is the Spanish tapas restaurant of Gypsy Kitchen. The restaurant is vast - a bar area, an inside area, and an outdoor patio on the balcony framed by the buildings of Buckhead. The menu is slightly smaller than some of the other tapas bars in the city, and it is probably a little more expensive. Having said that the quality of the food was wonderful!!! We had the hummus, the albondingas, the Moroccan chicken, the octopus, the strip steak, the Brussels sprouts, the jamon, and paired it with a bottle of Chardonnay. Everything was spiced to perfection with strong flavors, but really complementing the ingredients. The onky dish i thought was overly sauced was the strip steak... The service was significantly slow, not because of our server. He was amazing.. but from our vantage point, he was taking care of the entire outdoor patio and that was too much for 1 person. Mgmt needs to think through this issue The ambiance was fantastic weather in the 80s. A breeze keeping things cool, the music at the right volume. A bridal party celebrating a family out for dinner. Several couples out on their dates. It was a wonderful crowd Gypsy Kitchen delivers. Even if a little pricey. They just need to give their servers a chance by reducing their workload...

Food: We basically ordered half the menu!! I’m only going to point out some of my favorites though to keep this review to a still unreasonable length. I loved the whipped feta, it was smooth and creamy and that blackberry sauce balanced out the tanginess of the cheese. The mushroom toast was also great, the mushrooms were very meaty and they weren’t stingy on how much they put on there. I tasted the herbs, but not a lot of the balsamic reduction, so I was missing a little bit of that sweetness. The seafood paella was also great, the rice was amazing. I liked the flavor and the crispy bits!! All of the different seafoods were yummy, too. My favorite though was the croquetas de pollo. The chicken was moist inside, and the flavor was amazing. The garlic aioli was delicious and paired nicely! Service: The food came out really fast even though it was super busy. Our server was nice and came by every 5-10 minutes. Atmosphere: It was very busy here and a little loud, but the view outside was great. Maybe a little bit brighter lights but still a really cool restaurant. They had a statue of a bull, too in the bar! Overall: Pretty yummy and a great place for a few appetizers and great views.

We went to celebrate one of our friend’s birthday. The reservations were done in advance for the party of 15 so there was no waiting time for us. The place has nice indoor and outdoor ambiance. I had high expectations from this restaurant as it is highly rated and reviewed on Google but I was disappointed with their services. I wish I could give 0 ⭐️ for services. The gratuity they add for large parties should be worth the services but they made it seem like they were doing us a favor by bringing the food to our table for which we were making the payment. They took 30 minutes to bring the drinks on table for 6 members out of 15. Then they messed up with drink orders as they doubled the orders for some of us. The appetizers were reaching the table with same speed cuz of which no one ordered entrees. We were there for 3 hours and everyone left having appetizers and drinks only cuz they were taking ages to bring it to table. Only I ordered entree in the beginning when everyone was giving orders for drinks and I was able to have my steak which was delicious though. The food was good though but services were pathetic. I would never recommend it for large parties at all
