I love that they have nearly new housewares, gym equipment, etc for sale and I'm 1000% positive that they have things I'd want, but it's completely impossible to find any. I'm just not physically capable of moving large boxes around to attempt to find a price and item description that I'm not sure even exists on the box in the first place. SOME boxes have prices and item descriptions written in black marker, but that can also be difficult to see/find. Honestly, you'd think it wouldn't be too hard to grab a sheet of blank labels and write a price and at least the basic description of a boxes' contents and slap it in a visible area so you could at least tell which boxes were taking a closer look at.

I don’t know why I don’t come here more often. The treasure hunt experience is amazing. Plus they are part of a great cause. This place has great deals and is a good place to kill time. They even have a free book exchange area inside. I will definitely be back. I highly recommend.

Restore is a great place to check out. There’s a good chance you will find something that you need. They have a wide variety of items and there is always something new. They have products to help repair or refurbish items, and home improvement items as well. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

I went to the website to schedule a pickup for a recliner. Was texted back with an apology that because my donation was not big enough to warrant a truck, but I could certainly bring it to the store to drop off. I am in Sandy and the store is on 1300 south 500 west. I brought the recliner in and was told at the front desk that they did take recliners and to simply take it to the dock in the back, which I did. An older gentleman who said he was "in charge" told me they would not take the recliner. When I told him about my call and what I was told in the store, he called me a liar - that no one told me Habitat would take the recline. That made me angry, but his only response was.."just move on." I've always had a positive impression of HforH, but no more. I will NEVER donate to them again. Very sad.

First time in a restore was the one in Orem. I had no idea this type of stores even existed. We went in for discounted paint for our dinning room table we were refurbishing. I loved it. There is so much going on in this store it can be a bit overwhelming when your looking for small item(like a hinge). I'm really impressed with there organization skills. Still very cluttered but at least the have the piles in sections of same items. They had quite a bit more furniture then other stores I've been to. The staff is just as scattered as the materials. As we went to check out, their were 6 employees behind 1 register visiting and basically oblivious to us and other customers waiting. Then the young lady charged us three dollars on the hinges not the standard one dollar for 2 bcause they were fancy(believe me the are not fancy) but other than that my husband Jeremy and I had fun. I'm so very excited about the new Layton location. I can't eait. We have to either got Ogden or SLC locatuons, now all my dyi materials will be less than 10 minutes away. ***Don't forget that they are closed on Sunday and Monday***
