This is the best most awesome store for Harris Teeter and probably any other I've ever been to!! I'm from New Jersey and this just doesn't happen. I've ran into at least 3 people that helped me shot my whole order in record time... And it's just simply amazing. I'm finishing up my order now and yes I'm at the self check out they didn't give me a hassle..... And I just want to give this store 10 stars it's amazing. Thank you!!!!

I went to the customer service counter for help and Josh came up to the counter and asked if I had been helped. I had not so he began to help me with a transaction and then answered the phone. He was staring into space and silent on the phone and eventually I said "Who was here 1st, me or the caller." He then put the caller on hold and said to me "The phone takes 1st precedence here." I said "Over a customer?" I said "This is highly unprofessional." So if Harris Teeter does indeed have a policy that after the fact phone callers take precedence, then maybe they can hire someone who doesn't stare into blank space but is capable of ringing up a two item transaction that needed customer service involved. Knock, Knock, nobody is home. Maybe multitasking could be a thing for someone who works at customer service. It was not rocket science. This is my final straw with this store. There have been other issues with staff with challenged IQs. I left there and went to Whole Foods where I was treated with dignity and class. Harris Teeter used to have a standard and now are in the sphere of Food Lion. Not returning to this substandard level of customer service. EVER!

I ordered a cake from HT last Friday for a cake on Saturday. I ordered from the HT on Edward’s Mill. I tried to pick my cake up according to the hours i was given. They didn’t have my order. My daughter’s birthday was Saturday morning. I had to buy another cake from the Edwards Mill store. Now I find out that my order was at the Oberlin store. WTH I ended up buying 2 cakes and only got one. One I ordered with a credit card and charge for. The other one was bought from the freezer at the HT on Edwards Mill. I needed the cake It was a terrible experience. The party was definitely not what I planned I will never forget her birthday and I won’t be shopping with HT again. Pat Sorrell

I came in to make a money order and a worker there named Kenisha was VERY rude and unprofessional. She tried calling out another employee right in front of my friend and I and once I called her out on it she continued to argue with me. It was very uncomfortable and unprofessional for all parties involved. Absolute worst customer service I’ve experienced.
