Haru Sushi exceeded all expectations! The grilled skewers were the standout—flame-kissed perfection with bold, savory flavors that had me ordering seconds (and thirds). Each skewer was cooked to perfection and packed serious flavor. The no rice rolls were just as impressive—light, fresh, and beautifully presented. They let the quality of the fish and ingredients take center stage without the filler. This place is a must-visit if you’re into high-quality sushi and amazing grilled bites. Easily one of my new favorites! @sushitraveler

Extremely High Quality Fish in an Authentic Japanese Style Restaurant. This has got to be my favorite late night restaurant not only in Hollywood but the entirety of LA. Their late night Happy Hour menu is a winner here. Fresh Sushi Rolls, flavorful Takoyaki, light and crispy Chicken Karage, you cant go wrong if you want a taste of everything! Support local business like this here in Thai Town cause this place is a hidden gem!

As you can see from the photo, we ordered quite a lot of food. Overall, the dishes were flavorful without being overly salty, which I appreciated. However, the portions were on the smaller side, and the size of the meat and other items felt a bit modest. I usually order edamame as an appetizer, but they were out of stock that day, so I tried the seasoned peppers instead—and they were delicious. The restaurant doesn’t have a lot of seating, so if you catch it at the right time, you can be seated right away. Otherwise, there might be a bit of a wait. One thing to note: for those who prefer not to valet (myself included), finding street parking can be really difficult.

Amazing food and great presentation. The sunny roll was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended. We also got the sashimi combo 2 and it was an amazing assortment of fish. We also tried some of the bbq skewers. The a5 waguy was worth every penny. The chiceken thigh was also delicious.

Came at 7:00pm on a Friday. Parking is a valet car lot that states its $3 cash only for 90 min parking with validation. We ordered 1 roll, 1 appetizer and 1 sashimi combo. The app and roll came out quickly and were very delicious. The last part of our meal took over 40 minutes before we got it. I wanted to order more, but was worried with how long it was taking for the food to come out. The people next to us had ordered multiple items and only had half their order come out. After waiting an hour they finally got their last roll but wanted it to go bc it took so long. Saw this happen with 3 other tables. Also had to ask for the check 4 times. When I asked if they could validate our parking they told us they don’t validate there which was frustrating but the valet didn’t need validation after all despite the sign stating they did- also they accepted credit card and apple pay despite the sign saying cash only. The sushi was phenomenal and we absolutely loved it but the time between orders and the service was poor which caused me to only give them 4 stars. They need another sushi chef behind the counter (had only 2) and 3 waiters/waitress who were rushed and didnt understand the parking. This place was great and the prices were very reasonable- just be prepared to wait.
