Hawkwatch was scheduled to come for a presentation for 75-80 children. They no-showed without any communication. I called the number I was given on the confirmation 6 times. No one answered or returned my call. I also emailed multiple times after they No-showed to see what the problem was. They have not returned my emails either. I would not recommend this group! I have totally been "Ghosted!"

Attended a workshop for kids at HWI's office in Sugarhouse. Three raptors were brought out for kids to see up close, birds that had been injured in the past and could not be released back into the wild. Kids loved it, especially the great horned owl. Wonderful, knowledgeable staff and great facility.

Hawk Warch was at an event held at Mountainview Village on 7/4/22 with a beautiful Bald Eagle and I was appalled on how this bird was being treated by the handler. It was upsetting to watch the Eagle trying to take flight and falling onto its chest repeatedly during their few hours at the event. It was completly distressed and should have been hooded. The "trainer" should have known better. They didn't look as if they knew what they were doing.
