This spot is honestly amazing. I found a pair of gently used Tevas for just $3….seriously! The owner is always there when I stop by, working so hard and clearly putting so much heart into the place. The whole team is doing something really cool, pushing back against fast fashion and all the usual capitalist nonsense by keeping everything at just $3. It’s such a bold and thoughtful move. Definitely check it out and show some support!

✨ I finally visited Heartening last week after saving one of their Instagram posts for months, and it was so worth the drive from Liberty Hill! This place is an absolute gem. They have a wide range of sizes and styles for everyone, which I truly appreciated as a former plus-size woman. My 8-year-old daughter also had a blast picking out her treasures. There’s something for all ages. What stood out most was the beautiful mission behind the space: free clothing for all, a super affordable thrift boutique, and some of the kindest, most welcoming staff (volunteers?) I’ve met in a while. In a time when affordable clothing can be hard to come by, this place is such a gift to the community. I’ll be back, and next time, I’m bringing friends. DON'T FORGET YOUR BAGS!

This place and the people who lead it (primarily volunteers) are gems. I’ve watched this evolve overtime and serve so many groups in the community. I find great items for myself and my 6 year old daughter. I also have the pleasure of being able to volunteer to restock, tidy up and help manage inventory. That part has also been an amazing experience. What I encourage shoppers to consider is that this is a volunteer run store, it manages tons of articles of clothing and much of it goes out I to the community for FREE. I recommend visiting during the week if you prefer to avoid crowds. I usually go around noon and there is a lot of time and space to browse. Heartening is a gem and there to serve the community, I see a few reviews here that didn’t get the opportunity to experience it in its glory, rather a very busy rush that isn’t typical of what I’ve experienced in the past. Be patient, be curious, give grace and be part of this wonderful community project. My most recent visit I purchased about 20 pieces of girls clothing in brands such as Hannah Anderson, Only Little Once, Tea, Mini Boden which were all $2, which if you know those brands is insane. Visit, it’ll be worth it.

It is the BEST place to shop! Kelly and her volunteers are fantastic! Outside there is free stuff (clothes, shoes, baby items, household items, etc) Once you walk inside the first section is $15 and up...However, in the main store... EVERYTHING is ONLY $3. Every top brand name of clothes, shoes, swim suits, bras, accessories, jewelry, hats, etc. All for just $3. I can't say enough good things about Heartening. Not only are the items affordable, they are a charity that provides clothes to the homeless, churches, and organizations set up to help others. They accept most forms of electronic payments and CASH! *Hint: Bring bags that you can take your stuff home in... The word about Heartening has caught on fire, and they only have the bags that get donated to them.

So much hard work has been put into making this space what it's become and it shows! It reduces waste and increases access to clothing for community members through very affordable re-circulated items and through their free stand.
