Good inventory of clothes but it is so weird to me they sort by color and style rather than size? It seems like a weird marketing strategy to get you to comb through their stock more and stay in their store longer I don’t appreciate as a customer. I agree with the other reviews that they charge a lot for clothes that have noticeable stains and holes. It’s also not fun combing through dozens of racks trying to find my size. I am a size L and I noticed they mostly only have S and M which is fine but again it’s nice to know up front if they even carry items that will fit me. No point in combing through a ton of stuff that won’t fit me. Even goodwill sorts by size

Shop was clean and had really interesting/cool stuff but it was really pricy given the poor quality. I think another review might have mentioned expecting nicer items and I felt the same way. SO many of their T-shirts were very noticeably badly stained and they had pants that were damaged and a really cute skirt which had a busted zipper. These drawbacks wouldn’t be a deterrent if the prices weren’t higher than most other thrifts in Austin. And I also recognize items are used so imperfections are noticeable but the significance of the damage on the items and frequency makes me doubt I’ll go back.

Clothes seem to be overpriced for the quality. The store is clean, but sometimes can be hard to find things since they sort by color instead of size. I recently sold some clothes to 2nd Street and the offer was offensive— $4 for a jacket that they will most likely sell for $45+. Definitely makes me not want to shop there anymore now that I know how much they mark things up.

The selection is pretty good, but agree with others —customer service isn’t great. I had someone help me with a shirt I found with no tag and was told $10, then when ringing up they marked it the same as my other shirt at $29.99, the shirt was covered in holes and torn, maybe early 2000s, tourist shirt. When the person at the counter asked someone to help us, because they just priced it this shirt they said, the person looked up at me and just said “it’s $29.99”, haha. Check your communication and pricing perimeters. No thank you, bye with the attitude.

I can confidently echo the concerns about the poor customer service at this location. The staff appear untrained, unprofessional, and consistently rude. They are dismissive, lack basic communication skills, and show no regard for the customer experience. Any attempt to ask a simple question is met with visible annoyance, as if providing assistance is an inconvenience. I’ve visited every location in Austin, and this was by far the most disappointing and frustrating experience. A complete overhaul of the team is not only recommended, it’s necessary. 0 stars if I could rate that low.
