This is one of the newer H-E-B‘s may be 10 to 12 years old, it is bigger and has more upgrades than some of the H-E-B’s that have been around for 40 or 50 years. They have a lot of holiday events where you can come right before Thanksgiving or Christmas and they have a lot of samples of Holiday meals, which can be fun. If I lived closer to this one, I would go to this one all the time.

The employees are friendly and always want to get to know you. I go into the store and I know people by name. The food is always fresh and they have a huge array of seafood and poultry. The beef prices are a little high.And produce has on occasion been moldy. But aside from that it is a nice place to shop

Purchased 3 lbs of king crab and all the boil fixings and the crab came out slimy and tasted toxic like chemicals! Everything in the boil was ruined! The seafood manager treated my wife like she was taking advantage of HEB when she went back to get a replacement. He pulled some off the shelf behind where she could not see, handed it to her and walked away.

H-E-B works very closely with local farmers and ranchers to source the freshest Texas produce, meats, fish, and cheeses. They prepare many of their ready-to-eat meals in house, and their bread is baked fresh in their bakery. They have a vast (and authentic) selection of cultural foods, from tortillas to tahini. Ice cream, fresh fish market, butcher counter, deli, wine selection, floral and plants, extensive pharmacy section, personal care, paper goods, vegan foods…you get the idea! All of the finest quality, comparably priced, plus outstanding customer service is what makes H-E-B the quintessential “hometown” grocery store.
