This is a big new and beautiful H-E-B. There’s even a corner of it. That’s like a food court with several different restaurants in it. If this were a little bit closer to me, it would be my first choice, but I do come here occasionally when I’m over this direction.

March 2025 The Mueller H‑E‑B has an eye-catching entrance with a large covered entry that protects you from the weather. Besides a normal H-E-B store it is a flagship one with the only Main Street Food Hall & Bar. You have five choices of dining options from burgers, pizza, BBQ, Japanese, and fried chicken. Even outside they were serving food for takeout too.

I do not have a lot of experience shopping at HEB because other stores are closer to where I live. I happen to go to this HEB because I figure why not. First off let me say that this place is huge inside. It does not look from the outside but once you go in it's big. They have a couple little small restaurants in the wall where you can get something to eat which is cool plus places to sit in or outside. If your were to do some heavy shopping I'm sure it would take you an hour looking around and going down the aisles. I went here to buy some plant based items and I took a few pictures of what I saw. Some things I have seen in other stores some I have not. It's a nice store that kind of reminds me of a store called FOOD4LESS. For all of you California people out there you know about that store before it got bought out. Anyways I would go back and check it out again but maybe when it's not super crowded because the lines to pay were nuts. Almost forgot the bathroom for the men were clean and nice. Lol

Picked up curbside at Mueller today, 08-07-25, which was full & took 10 min or more. Spinach was beat up, old. Finally found a parking spot thinking I'll just go to Cust Serv & let them know I'd like to exchange it for another one. Nope, Cust Serv counter is gone & need to go to a register where there are many, many people in line. Stood behind someone for 13 min, finally get to the cashier who says she doesn't need my order number or need to see the receipt, which I attempted to show her on my phone. I was going to exchange it, but decided to take my money & run because I wasn't about to get back in line, plus my cashier acted like I was getting on her nerves. My receipt says $1.81, and she's showing a credit of $1.74. She calls a guy over who issues the credit for $1.74, and tells me to step to another register so he can figure out why. He stares at my receipt for 5 minutes then says I can give you the 7 cents. I say do whatever you need to do to give me what I paid. At this point I'm frustrated because I'm 60+ and chose curbside to avoid coming into the store after work and ended up spending more time trying to exchange 1 item. Will definitely think twice about doing curbside at Mueller again now that good customer service is gone along with the customer service counter!!
