Great performance but the seating was overcrowded and we felt like sardines required to take on a 2 item minimum food/drink. The cheese plate was ok, not great, the shrimp crostini was tasty but hard to eat... Even harder in the limited space... We need elbow room to sit and eat and it is just too tight. The patron beside me and I had to sit arms folded the entire performance to prevent bumping elbows. Drinks for laws bourbon old fashioned were $27 a piece, and way too much simple syrup, too sweet, not enough bitters and for $27 it should be ball ice not flat ice. They need larger cocktail tables more row space between the rows and more seat space side to side. Max capacity is a limit not a target for a comfortable show. I've had more space and access at a ATSO concert and floor seats. Service was good but the kitchen was very slow. We arrived 30 minutes early and our food arrived 30 minutes into the performance. The front vestibule is difficult to get into with people waiting and limited space . It will be a problem for wheelchair access and I don't believe there is wheelchair accessibility anywhere near the stage, especially with the overcrowding. If I could offer a suggestion, for cold or hot nights, setup a clear tent outside the vestibule with heating or cooling and prop two or more external doors open for accessibility. If I am paying for a premium performance experience, The new Dazzle space was more of a fizzle and fell far short on everything but the performance and wait staff.

The four theatres (Stage, Space, Ricketson, and Jones) within the Helen Bonfils Theatre Complex consistently produces the best live theatre in all of Colorado. Everything to do with the Denver Center Theatre Company, owned and operated by The Denver Center for the Performing Arts, is world class. The actors are as good, if not better, than those one will find in New York, LA, or Chicago. The production values are some of the highest I have ever seen anywhere - nothing cheap or inexpensive here. The plays produced are cutting edge, timely, and relevant. If one is a theatre lover, then look no further when in the Denver area.

The theatres are smaller and far more intimate than the Buell and with the incline of seats between rows, there's simply not a bad seat in the house. The smaller venue also means that the set production and lighting teams tend to be far more creative and ingenious in staging their productions.

We loved the performance, the crew used the space to is fullest but also that takes a lot of work because it's a smaller stage and is a"dead space" when it comes to singing, so mics are required. We're looking forward to going to more performances, knowing that with a less than idea theatre, it was spectacular
