I visited 06/30/2023 for pier fishing. I was unable to catch anything with a 5'6 fishing rod and 1# hook. This area seemed to be very popular for crabbing and many people were successfully catching crab. I believe some people were catching a dozen over several hours. I wasn't able to see anyone catch any large fish and there seemed to be around 6 people fishing.
