Drove from Central Utah to go try this trail and we didn’t make it all the way to the falls. Got up to the parking at 8am on Saturday morning and the parking was horrendous. We had to find a random spot on the side of the road and got a parking ticket. So pay attention to where you’re parked so you don’t get cited. Also, there was a lot of people on bikes and running so please drive safe and watch for people! There were no signs for the trail so we had no clue where we were going. Found “a” sign, not sure if we were in the right place, and it was the only sign for the mile we hiked. We had my friends kids with us and they did great on the hike. Whatever trail we were on was beautiful and very shady. Make sure you do your research to find the trail before going up lol.

Great waterfall! Didn't get a chance to Sneak into the mineshaft although the raging rapids were a sight to see. The cliffs and mountainsides made for treacherous hiking, so stick to the path and you'll be fine.

Like a 5 min hike from the parking lot to the fall. Barely can call it a hike. Easy with kids, baby in arms or flip-flops.

This waterfall is located up Big Cottonwood Canyon, at the s-curve. If you're driving up the canyon, you wouldn't even know it was there. It's a short hike through a narrow slot type area surrounded by steep rocky walls on three sides. To get close, you might have to step over rocks in the water, depending on the water flow. This photo doesn't really show the size of it all.
