hello
terrible. everyone here is out to get you. the front desk people know all your private drama even the ones youve never seen before. they kicked me out because I failed ONE class and got all As in everything else. they also filed a report and threatened to fall the police on me because I literally said I was shy and I don't like to talk in class. they don't care at all about your education. everthing in the honors college is added nonsense. you can't even make an appointment online like the normal college they have to be special and make you call them or see them in person. you also have to turn in to the front desk useless hard copies saying you completed your class that semester. all the advisors push you to gender studies nonsense and if you're into science and facts they try to push you away from that as much as possible. this IS NOT the acedemetic research college they advertise themselves as.

Why might someone hesitate to choose Honors College as a group meetup spot?
While Honors College offers many advantages for group meetups, some may have reservations worth considering. The relatively rigorous academic demands can be stressful, requiring additional coursework and the completion of significant projects like theses, which may limit casual social time. Groups less interested in the academic intensity may find this environment less relaxing than other typical hangout spots.
Additionally, the exclusivity and smaller size of honors communities, while fostering close connections for many, can sometimes feel limiting for those seeking a broader social scene. The cost associated with some honors programs can also be a factor, as fees or housing premiums may be higher than in standard campus settings.
Finally, because Honors Colleges are often integrated within larger universities, the quality of amenities like dining facilities, housing location, or recreational options may vary and sometimes receive mixed feedback. Groups should consider whether the balance of academic focus and social environment aligns with their preferences before choosing Honors College as a meetup venue.
Despite these concerns, for many students and their families, the benefits of the Honors College experience — including community, intellectual growth, and recognition — far outweigh the drawbacks.
