đď¸ A cool, clean escape from the city heat We stopped by this shopping mall on a hot day, and honestly â it was the perfect place to take a break. âď¸âď¸ Inside, itâs calm, air-conditioned, and beautifully maintained. A great spot to recharge, stroll around, or simply hide from the sun for a bit. ⨠What I liked: ⢠Cool and quiet inside â such a relief on a summer day ⢠Plenty of space to walk without feeling crowded ⢠Great for window shopping or resting in between activities đŹ Something to keep in mind: Most of the stores here are on the higher-end side â lots of premium and luxury brands. Thatâs great if youâre looking for something special, but I do wish there were a wider variety of price points for more casual or budget-friendly shopping. â Still, itâs a lovely and relaxing environment â even if youâre just browsing or grabbing a drink.

Hudson Yards is like NYCâs ultra-modern playground. Shiny skyscrapers, high-end shops, cool art, and some pretty epic views ( though my 12 yo daughter was not very impressed). It feels more like a curated experience than a classic city stroll, but if youâre into sleek design and big city vibes you will enjoy it! The Edge gives you that âtop of the worldâ feeling, and The Vessel (even if you just admire it from below as I did this time around) is a wild piece of architecture. If you just want to grab a bite ( restaurants are pretty amazing) window shopping, or just soaking in the views, it definitely makes a little adventure. Sure, itâs a bit glossier and more polished and less gritty than other neighborhoods â but thatâs part of the charm. Definitely worth checking out, especially if youâre into design and architecture. Anyway, itâs worth a visit just to see a different side of the city.

Hudson Yards is an enormous building that encompasses luxe stores (think Bulgari, Cartier, Dior, Fendi, Rolex, Coach, Theory, Neuhaus, Aesop, Dunhill, LadurĂŠe) to name a few, restaurants (Eataly, Bond St, Greywind, Little Spain, Estiatorio Milos, Blue Bottle Coffee, Queensyard) offices and luxurious residential apartments with spectacular views. The Vessel, famous for its unusual architecture and infamous (2 suicides) holds pride of place in the front and can be walked to the top. Jazz is played in a restaurant on the second floor. I like to find a table outside where I can eat lunch and listen to the music. A lot of tourists come here but it is a question mark as to how much they spend at the fancy stores? The Edge is also located here which has an observation deck where tickets are required and is a tourist attraction.

If you ever want to pick a happening place this end of Manhattan downtown, this is it! What a vibe with live music and street performers. With the beautiful tall twin towers, it covers attractions like the Vessel, the Edge, 34th Street Hudson yards subway, gorgeous restaurants within Hudson yards food court. Youâll never be disappointed especially when you come out here in the evening.
