One of the best city parks in Portland. They recently added lights to make sure it's a bit brighter a night (particularly helpful in the fall and winter). There are basketball courts, tennis courts, and three baseball fields. In the summer, many larger pedalpalooza events meet here. There is also Shakespeare in the Park held here in the summer. The park being close to some fantastic bars and a grocery store makes it an easy spot to stop by after work or randomly meet up with some friends. There is also a dog park so you'll often see dogs running around the park. Fortunately, I have yet to encounter any issues with that. The park is large enough to rarely feel crowded.
