I recently brought in an older IWC chronograph that appeared to need service as I was unable to wind it properly. I was planning to leave it for them ship to IWC for service. The sales consultant (I didn't get her name) looked at the watch, made a few adjustments and handed it back working properly! She explained that the hands were in a position that can make it difficult to move the crown. Problem solved! I'd forgotten that this is possible and just assumed it needed service. I really appreciated that she took the time to troubleshoot the watch before deciding to send it off and missing my watch for months, never mind the cost of service.

I went to this store about 6 weeks ago and met with Andrew. I wanted to replace the leather band on my IWC watch and was also considering a new watch for $8,500. I was told they would have to order the replacement band an that I would have it in two weeks. I ordered the band and after NOT hearing from them in 5 weeks I gave them a call. No one in the store seemed to know what I was talking about. I had to give them all my information again including sending photos of my watch and the band I had ordered. Finally I received a call back telling me they have that band in stock. I told them I’d be in the next morning & confirmed they would be open at 11:00am. I arrived at 11:05am & the door was locked. Someone motioned to me they would open in 2 minutes. At 11:15am I called the store and Andrew answered the phone calling me by name telling me it would be another 30 minutes until they opened. I love IWC watches but would never ever go back to that store again. What a waste of time. I will get my band replaced and purchase a new IWC watch elsewhere. Jules M
