I had a great experience in Joel & Maria's salsa & chacha classes. I am new to their studio but not new to salsa-just a bit out of practice since I haven't danced regularly in a while. The studio is nice & big, very well air conditioned which is a huge plus in this hot summer weather & it was very inviting. They are friendly & welcoming to everyone whether they know you or not. I love how they broke everything down in terms of the steps making sure everyone understood & wasn't lost. The people in the class were friendly as well & everyone seemed to be having a great time. I was in an intermediate Level 3 class. I highly recommend their studio to anyone even remotely interested in trying salsa.

The teachers are patient, detail-oriented, and fun (they love their job lol). I appreciate their focus on dancing to the sounds of instruments in addition to performing numerous variations of fun turns which makes every cycle unique and different. The class atmosphere is great place to make friends. And there’s people starting with of all different skill levels so it was easy to feel comfortable here. Additionally, they respond to and adapt their teaching to meet our needs which I respect above all us.
