Okay major construction as of Memorial Day 2025 has partitioned the north end of this park so take into consideration that's up to a two star deduction for non-track users but normally... This entire East River esplanade has a view to die for whether your walking, jogging, riding, enjoying the track and fields, playgrounds, fishing, hanging out, socializing or watching others do any of the above. The river & it's traffic, skylines of Queens & Brooklyn & their respective bridges in view are spectacular day or evening year round not to mention the seasonal blooms. I'm holding back the best photos I have accumulated of the river & skylines because I think interested parties should see for themselves. Best to pack a beverage(s), snack, or even picnic or barbecue, not to mention the kids, and even Fido (there's an entire enclosed large field locals use as a dog run). It may not be a tourists primary destination, but it definitely rates a spot on ANYONE'S itinerary.

The park isn’t the biggest but still great either way. Fantastic view of the river and bridge + nice track to run on + open area to play sports or whatever you’re feeling.

Amazing updates were made to the park. New turf, fence (they shrank the field 🥺) and beautiful scenery.

This park was such a calm escape from the city’s noise. I walked along the river around sunset, and the view of the skyline was incredible. You get a nice breeze and a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for thinking, walking, or just taking a break. There were benches all along the path, and it wasn’t too crowded. I saw a few people jogging and some families enjoying the space. It’s one of those places you don’t hear much about, but once you’re there, you realize how relaxing it is. I’d definitely visit again—great spot to unwind and enjoy NYC’s quieter side
