Just had an amazing meal at Kafe' Mamai! The atmosphere was so welcoming, and the food was out of this world. I highly recommend the surf & turf—the sauce that comes with it is absolutely to die for. And the grilled jerk chicken is no joke; it literally falls off the bone. You can tell everything is made with love. I'll definitely be back soon!

Whether you’re familiar with Caribbean cuisine or trying it for the first time, this place is definitely worth the visit. We tried the Fried Red Snapper. The Mamai Mash and Collard Greens were great. The Mamai Mash, a new dish for me, was interesting and addicting. The water comes with a refreshing orange slice. It’s clear the kitchen takes pride in what they serve, and the atmosphere made it easy to kick back and enjoy.

This place was delicious. I forgot to take a picture of the sambusas but they were the star of the show next to the plantains and the oxtail. I didn’t come here with any expectations because I’m not an expert in Caribbean fusion cuisine but, I was blown away by the flavor. The oxtail stew was rich, savory and decadent. The plantains were out of this world! I never thought I would rave about plantains but they do it well. I also got the bonless jerk chicken but next time I’m going to get the bone in version as I was told that the bone gives more flavor. The goat stew is definitely an aquired taste and it wasn’t my favorite but my husband liked it so to each his own, don’t knock it till you try it. We also had the mango cobbler which was interesting but very good! The space was full of color and culture. I loved seeing all the different art they had on display. It really felt like you were on an island in the Caribbean somewhere. The service was great and everyone was super polite. We will be back.

Excellent flavors, this restaurant is awesome. Super friendly staff, I've never had food like this. We are from out of town. My wife loves this place she's visited twice now. I would highly recommend this place.

Wow. Not only was the staff extremely nice, but the food… 🤤absolutely amazing. Ordered the Grilled Jerk Chicken. Came with 2 thigh and drum cutlets, cooked plantains, and red beans and rice. The spice was perfect. Flavor was perfect. Huge portion. Really complimented the Swahili Chai I ordered. Would highly recommend this spot. Will be returning soon.
