I started at Kalypto Arts last year after taking a bit of hiatus from silks, wanting to get back into it and improve my strength and skill. I was used to being in bigger gyms/circus studios before this where I would get lost in the large class sizes and never knew when to speak up when I didn’t understand something. I wasn’t seeing much progress in the intro classes I was in and had a hard time keeping up with the combos. The patience, kindness, consistency, and attention that Jillian and Kaia have shown me at Kalypto has made clear to me that I made the right decision choosing a smaller studio when I was deciding where to go last year. I am way more confident in my abilities and understand combos and how to move in the silks so much better than I ever have before. There are things that I can do now that truly seemed impossible before. I am soon moving back to my home aerial studio in Seattle and I recently showed them what I can do to see what class I would be in and they were amazed at the progress I’ve made, putting me in the class just below the most advanced. I was so surprised! Thank you so much Kaia & Jillian for your teaching, coaching, and support! I will miss you both so much and am so grateful to have found Kalypto🤍

So happy to have found Kalypto Arts! Rhett and Jilli are wonderful and the space is great (with high ceilings!) for all things aerial. Everyone has made me feel very welcome and I've loved being able to work on skills during open gym. I'm looking forward to their classes starting in January and can't wait to try them out once I'm back in town in the spring! Definitely worth checking them out!

Kalypto is the best studio around! The staff and owners are amazing and super helpful. We particularly enjoy their partner acro class and have loved their last theatrical production. If you're in the SLC area and have considered getting into circus arts, this is the place!
