Celebrating my birthday. 1st visit. $5 Valet parking. Really wasn't necessary when we went, so I think when it's not busy patrons should be given the option to self park or valet. The owner greeted us at the door and told us to seat ourselves. Shortly after, he came to our table and said we needed to pay. Well, we were aware of the cover charge and he could have collected it at the door instead of making us feel uncomfortable. The server was very friendly and courteous. I think he served as the server as well as the bartender, maybe was the cook. The food was delicious and the drinks were on point! The entertainer and the entertainer were awesome. She was honor women of color in the music industry. She allowed audience participation in the songs. The manager came over and introduced himself and told us the summer lineup will be including some blues. Looking forward to returning. It was a night to remember as I ended my birthday month

Legendary music venue in the city. Absolutely come for the music and the other events! The vibe is right in this cozy space. The service however always leaves something to be desired. Prepare for slow service and or to be ignored altogether especially if you're riding solo. One of the times I was there another client was served drinks in a chipped glass-they fixed this but still scary. Hope they continue to get better.
