Found these guys on Google after another local shop told me they didn't work on a vintage bike like my '83 Suzuki GS650G. I came by and talked with Alex and Mike about the bike and, after assuring them they weren't about to bring an old bike back to life after 30 years in storage, brought it in. Alex went over everything I asked , found it didn't need the carb rebuild I'd feared and called with a very reasonable estimate. It took about a week for him to get the parts and finish repairs. After test riding it, he also tightened up the steering head bearings. I just rode it home and it's like a totally different motorcycle - both the engine and ride are so smooth. All that, great service, good communication and a very fair price. From now on, Kontiki is my go-to shop, even though they're 25 miles away from home.
