I had a fantastic experience at Kroger this morning, right at opening. The store was spotless, and the team’s energy set a positive tone for the day. Hajara in the bakery was outstanding. She stopped what she was doing to help me find an item, and her warm, genuine personality made the interaction feel personal—not rushed or transactional. That kind of care is rare and appreciated. Akilah (apologies if I’m spelling that wrong) brought a bubbly, welcoming presence to self-checkout. She kept things moving while staying friendly and attentive—exactly who you want in that spot. Whoever the manager on duty and the General Manager are, they deserve real recognition—and honestly, a raise. The building was clean, the staff clearly cared, and even the security team made a great first impression; the lady at the front greeted customers with a smile and a nod. Keep up the great work—I'll be back.

You’d think a company the size of Kroger would recognize the massive opportunity in digital and online order fulfillment, but instead, they continue to drop the ball with consistently poor service and indifferent management. I placed an order for pickup between 7–8PM. At 5:20PM, I received a call informing me the department was closing early due to being short-staffed. If I couldn’t make it by 6PM, I’d have to wait until tomorrow. How does that make sense? Apparently, not a single store manager or employee is capable—or willing—to fulfill an order during my scheduled window. Instead, the burden is on me to stop what I’m doing and rush to the store to accommodate their staffing issues. No thanks. I cancelled the order and went to Publix. I paid a bit more, but had zero hassle and a great experience. Goodbye Kroger—I won’t be back.

This store is close but if I need a Kroger, I go to Glenwood or Ansley for a more civilized experience. I'll even go to Publix or Trader Joe's instead of this location. If I have to go here for whatever reason, I anticipate it to be frustrating. They do nothing about cars illegally parked and blocking drive lanes. The garage is dark, littered and generally dirty. 2nd quarter 2025 - often out of stock, they continue to leave coupon price reductions posted past their deadline and you have to deal with indignant customer service who refuse to honor the posted price. Stock carts sit unattended in aisles blocking access, healthy people - often young people ride around on the handicap electric carts. When you find staff stocking shelves, they're likely on the phone and bothered if you ask a question. Staff seem unaware of the location of items and mislead you to their location and seem bothered you asked. Not always but most of the time it's a frustrating experience. When you cross paths with helpful friendly staff in a clean store it feels surprising.

Where else can you get a tuna roll, a Caesar salad, cut watermelon and two generous glasses of wine for $30 in Atlanta? Kroger of course!

One of the worst Kroger experiences I had and my bar is not very high.. Store is dirty, the parking garage is very dark, there was no cash register open (just self check out). Advertisement of prices is very misleading - They advertise a price and the headline “digital deal” not only means that you need the Kroger card but also activate the cupon before shopping. Feels a lot like fraud. The 2 associates (that have to cover like 10 self check out registers) were not helpful - no wonder given the amount of work they have. Will for sure never come back
