This store has a smell like something rotten or dead, coming from the back of the store and it flows throughout the store. So one day, I also went back at night and then looked over at the seafood area, the food was removed but take a close look at the pans (pic below), filthy!! So the food is put up and idk never worked in seafood but I thought blood and any residue on the pans was suppose to be cleaned off daily to keep smells and contamination down. This could be the problem. The floors are filthy (pic below) this is a regular and if you don’t believe me go observe for yourself and then observe other grocery chains even Tom Thumb and you will see. Last, my car was damaged by a shopping cart in the parking lot, Kroger’s insurance company is Sedgwick, which NEVER pays anyone, example you could fall in front of them on a slippery mat or just a wet floor and they will blame your shoes, lol or you stability, you get the point. So the excuse from them is it was a “stray” cart left unattended see what I mean how is a cart left unattended as if it’s all out there alone when you have store workers that are suppose to get these carts back inside, that’s the store’s problem but somehow a cart that’s not a person is at fault, this is crazy on another level, I will see if I can post the letter and let you read it yourself. Had the nerve to ask me to continue to be a customer at the end of the letter. When target comes GOODBYE!

7/8/25 I came to Kroger to finds some lemons only to realize there is a shortage of lemons everywhere! So I got a few other fruits instead. I came to the self checkout because all the cashiers were gone. I was greeted by a sweet voice as I attended my register. As I finished the young lady was brutally hollered at by her manager. I thought it was very unprofessional and made her feel totally embarrassed. I felt bad for her and told her to try to have a good day. We as customer's should not be aware when an employee is being discipline. That should be done totally in private. Management should always be trained on how to carry themselves and not show aggression because they have authority. Everyone has feelings and deserves to be treated with respect. If this problem is not addressed in due time, Kroger will need a lot more self checkout lines, aggression like that shouldn't be tolerated.

I come here often and this place is always giving. They have all your basic groceries but they have a big variety of brands that you do not find around supermarkets around Oak Cliff. Their rotisserie chicken is delicious and that is one of my frequent items. It is not the biggest inside or have the cleanest surroundings, but this Kroger understood its job and it delivers. I definitely recommend it.

When the super Target in the same shopping center opens soon I fear this Kroger store will see a lot of their customers depart. Not because of the competition but because of the lack of concern and respect it shows toward it's long-time customers. The middle of a busy weekday when the store has a lot of people is not the time to completely shut down all the checkout registers and force everyone to use self checkout. Self checkout machines at this store are a joke at best, glitching out after every few scans requiring an employee to do a reset. Far from a pleasant shopping experience. If you want better service it's worth the drive to another store. This store really needs to up it's game quickly if it is going to survive.
