Shopping at this Kroger has been a consistently positive experience. The produce section is one of the highlights—it’s always fresh, neatly arranged, and offers a wide variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables. I can count on finding crisp greens, ripe fruits, and good-quality items that make healthy eating easier. The frozen food section is equally impressive, with plenty of choices ranging from everyday essentials to specialty items. It’s well-organized, making it simple to find what I need quickly. What I appreciate most is how competitive the prices are across the store. From fresh produce to pantry staples, I feel I’m getting good value without compromising on quality. This balance of affordability and variety makes it one of my go-to grocery stops in Ann Arbor.

The cashier was very patient with my daughter and me as we struggled with her new loyalty card app. She inserted kindness into a tough moment. The world needs more people like this!

This Kroger, on Washtenaw in Ann Arbor, is very nice and clean. Employees are friendly, smiling, and always greet everyone. Prices are no higher than other Kroger stores.

I came to this Kroger on Sat Oct 28th 2023 @ 7:15pm and parked by the door close to the side of the building (not the one by Rally House) that has a sign mentioning that they close it at 9pm. I parked by this door not the other one because the Handicap parking spot had a cart thrown in the middle of that spot, and got my crutches, walked to the door to find out out that they closed it early! And they assumed customers to figure out that they closed it early by flipping a shopping cart upside down by that door from the outside and a couple electric handicap carts from the inside. I went back to my car, took it to the other entrance and parked it on the blue lines (which is illegal) but I had no other choice and walked in to find out that they dont have handicap electric carts, besides the two blocking the other entrance and one thrown by tge customer service desk that needs charge and WAS NOT PLUGGED IN! I dont know what those employees thought but there should be some attention paid to customers who need help!

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Alana at the Arborland Kroger, and I cannot say enough great things about her! She was responsible for delivering my groceries to my car, and from the moment she approached, her warm and cheerful demeanor was refreshing. Customer service these days often feels rushed and impersonal, but Alana was the complete opposite—she genuinely cared about making my experience smooth and enjoyable. She not only greeted me with a smile but also took the time to educate me on how I can use bottle slips as coupons for drive-up orders—something I had never known before! What truly set Alana apart was the care and attention she put into loading my groceries. She stacked everything so neatly and carefully in my backseat, ensuring nothing would tip over or get damaged. Unfortunately, I’ve had experiences at other stores where employees just toss the bags in without a second thought, but Alana handled my order with such professionalism and respect. This experience was a reminder of how impactful great customer service can be. Alana is a true gem, and Kroger is lucky to have her! I will absolutely be returning to this location because of the outstanding service she provided. Thank you, Alana, for brightening my day!

It’s also wise to check the local store’s hours and services available on the day of the meetup, especially around holidays, to avoid surprises. If your group wants to utilize grocery pickup or delivery, setting orders in advance ensures smooth execution.
Because Kroger sells a wide range of products, groups should decide whether their gathering will center on cooking together, dining on prepared foods, or a combination of both. This choice influences what items to purchase and how the group organizes itself onsite.
