There are a couple dirt paths down to the water. It is a beautiful quite spot. However its sad how people can ruin these parks. There was trash, clothes, fishing line, hooks and glass everywhere. Definitely do not walk barefoot. Please just clean up after yourselves and leave these parks better than you found them.

Lassiter Mill Park is a charming spot that offers a quaint and serene escape. There is a small but picturesque waterfall, which provides a beautiful backdrop for a relaxing visit. Also note there is minimalist parking in the area, During our visit, we noticed a few small groups enjoying some fishing while others took leisurely strolls along the nearby walking trails. The park's compact size adds to its charm, making it a perfect spot for a short, peaceful outing. I kindly ask all visitors to pick up any plastic bottles or litter they come across. This small act can help keep Lassiter Mill Park pristine and enjoyable for all.

Visiting from Indiana, previously lived in Denver and Minneapolis. Both of those cities are known for their amazing trail systems. Raleigh is blowing my mind in the best of ways 🥰 Southern hospitality at its finest - almost every person I passed on the trail smiled or said hello

GORGEOUS man-made waterfall next to BEAUTIFUL million-dollar homes! Sandy areas to walk around on and explore downstream a bit. Great place to skip rocks on the water, or fish, or have a picnic! What a pretty natural spot! 💦💦💦👍👍
