What a great UPS store! A reminder that even with a recognizable and dependable brand, it's the people that make a difference. Over the two years we've lived in the neighborhood, the various team members have been unfailingly kind, cheerful, and totally competent. But they were really outstanding in helping us with our out-of-state move. I am so sorry not to remember the name of the woman who packed us, advised us, reassured us--but we felt that we were in the hands of a pro and we are eternally grateful! We're gonna miss you--UPS at 955 Mass Ave.

Shaundell at this UPS Store saved me SO much time! I wanted to return a defective folding wagon, but could not fit it back into its box (I'd tried several times). So I tried calling UPS to ask if their store could perhaps help me pack the item for shipping...but UPS' phone tree could only seem to help customers with tracking issues. So I took a risk and carted my UNpacked wagon, together with its shipping box, over to the closest UPS Store- where Shaundell looked over the situation and was SO professionally caring, positive, and helpful from the start- providing a delightful customer experience! He managed to fit the wagon into its box surprisingly (AMAZINGLY!) expeditiously, logged my return into UPS' system- and I was on my way out the door to finish all the rest of my errands that afternoon. I cannot thank Shaundell enough! --So Thank You, UPS, for having Shaundell on staff-- so ready, willing, and capable to help tired, frustrated customers like I was! (I do hope UPS can improve your phone tree soon, though, too-- to answer customers' questions about *packing*-related issues by phone... not just tracking issues.) Sincerely Appreciated!

Sent an international package to Canada to family. The UPS store called saying I owe customs fee - I tell them I want to self clear because UPS Brokerage is a scam charging me 50$ on 5$ of Canadian taxes for a package that already costed 50$ to ship... The lady said I can't, I have to pay the taxes and got aggressive with me saying I have to pay. THIS IS ILLEGAL! UPS must give you to option pay import customs on your own! She then tried to walk me through tracking and trick me into clicking the pay now button on the tracking page by saying I can self-clear there. I told her NO I want to self-clear, and not go through UPS Brokerage. She then goes "oh, that's what you mean.. well you'll have to call UPS International." She clearly knew what I was looking to do and still try to trick me into paying 50$ brokerage on top of 50$ shipping for a 60$ shipment.

Shout out to Gio and Jordan for their patience. I went to print a book and have it staple bound. The book wasn't printing right. The shop was busy. It took us a few attempts to get it right. Super happy with the result!

How does The UPS Store’s location strategy enhance its appeal for gatherings? Most The UPS Store outlets are strategically placed in areas with high foot traffic and easy accessibility, such as shopping centers, hotels, college campuses, and near military bases. This situational advantage means groups traveling from different places can find a convenient rendezvous point. Locations inside or near prominent landmarks—like The UPS Store Inside The Fairmont Hotel in Dallas—offer a prestigious and comfortable backdrop for meetings paired with errands. Ample parking and public transport options nearby further reduce the hassle of group transportation. Because these locations are embedded in bustling neighborhoods, attendees can extend their meetup time by exploring nearby cafes or restaurants afterward. The store’s neighborhood integration also encourages repeat visits and creates a community touchpoint that groups can rely on for various needs throughout the year, reinforcing its role as a practical and popular meetup choice.

What should groups consider before planning a meetup at The UPS Store? While The UPS Store offers many advantages, groups should plan based on their specific needs and the services available at their chosen location. It’s advisable to check store hours, as some services may have cutoff times for shipping or printing. Reserving services like mailbox rentals or bulk printing in advance can ensure the store can accommodate the group efficiently. Since the store’s environment is primarily designed for service transactions rather than prolonged socializing, groups wanting extended hangout time might consider nearby venues for after-hours socializing. Additionally, groups should assess their work scope to ensure that the tasks planned fit naturally with the store’s core offerings. For example, The UPS Store is excellent for document-related needs but is not a venue for food or entertainment. Finally, communicating clearly with staff about any special requirements or assistance needs helps streamline the visit and maximize benefits for the group. Planning carefully ensures the meetup is both productive and enjoyable.

In conclusion, The UPS Store combines a rich service menu with convenient locations and a supportive atmosphere that make it an excellent venue for friends, families, and business groups to rally together. Whether managing shipping, printing, or mailbox needs, your group can collaborate on meaningful projects in a professional yet inviting setting. Its efficient services, customer-focused staff, and comfortable facilities promote both productivity and social interaction, providing a unique meetup experience that goes beyond the ordinary. If your group seeks a place that respects your time, supports your goals, and offers plenty of practical value, The UPS Store is a compelling choice to consider for your next meetup.
