Wonderful Saturday farmers market set in a friendly park. A good number and mix of vendors. So U can easily buy enough to eat and drink to make for a nice picnic under the shade of trees with plenty of Spanish moss. But bring your own blanket or folding chairs cos no benches here. The pathway is wide enough so that - unlike the FM in Coconut Grove - U can walk around without bumping into people. To my experience (been there twice) most vendors are quite friendly too and happy to give a sample and explain their wares. The downsides are parking spaces. Though there are many available near the park, it is very popular and they fill up fast on Saturday. And the prices…. I paid $12 for a subpar sourdough bread that would have cost me max $10 for much better quality at a number of bakeries in town. I also paid $32 for a smallish wedge of excellent Dutch cheese. So not complaining of the quality, in this case, but only the price. In Europe, farmers markets are cheaper than the supermarkets - especially for fruits and vegetables (and, yes, they offer all organic too). I don’t get why FM’s in South Florida all charge at least a 30% premium. So take a full wallet with you if planning to indulge.

The park is filled with wonderful people! If the city enhances the cleanliness, we'll have an even more beautiful waterfront to enjoy together.
