Ribs and Mac and cheese were just perfect. Bacon was a little bit too dark for us, but can happen once in a while. Coleslaw and watermelon salads were really good!

While on the way to a gourmet restaurant we got detoured and in passing by this place decided to try it out. I had seen other reviews and decided to try it out. It is a part of what was called back in the day the Curb Market, full of bays where trucks pull in to unload produce. As a child it was always a fun and crowded space where people came to shop for those items. This restaurant was improved from one of those bays and they did a great job keeping some of its old rustic lure, like the steep steps and rusted hand rail you must touch to get up the stairs. I did not see a handicapped entrance so I and a family with a baby stroller in tow, struggled but made it to the top. The inside was nice, there was a bar, and Happy Hour. The food was pretty good, the ribs smoked and tender, and the Mac and cheese was creamy and had a hint of jalapeño, which was very good. The food was on the pricier side, but, one thing I appreciated was the food temperature for the hot items. They were hot and stayed hot throughout the meal. Someone came over to " explain," that the food was not the normal price we might find in "our neighborhood," which made me feel like he assumed we were concerned about prices, or could not afford it. That was why I prefaced this with the fact we were on our way to a famous five-star rated restaurant. You never know who your customers are, nor should one assume.
