such a fun spot! The staff is so friendly and nice and talk you through the whole process. They also suggest different things for you to try- felt very well looked after. The food is great. i have been here a few times and have no other KBBQ places to compare it to, but it’s always delicious!! Love it.

This is a good spot to go to with friends! You pay by person. I forgot to take a picture, but this was my second time being here. The employees cook the meat for you. You always get the same type of vegetables (broccoli, onion, yams, kimchi, pickled radish, etc) and get unlimited refill on it. You have an hour of unlimited meat as well. It’s a pretty simple menu in my opinion but the meat tastes better than most KBBq I’ve been to. I would have gave it four stars if it had more on the menu for the price.

I love this restaurant! I have been here a few times now, and the food, service, and environment are 5 stars across the board. The staff is super helpful, the wait has not been particularly long when we've gone (both weekend days around 2pm), and the food is SO good. The price is under $40 per person for most things (excluding drinks), and it's a very worthy price for the quality of the food! I suggest the number 11 from the classic menu, it's a marinated sliced beef that is so good. A nice touch: normally in Korean BBQ, you cook everything yourself (as far as I've experienced). At this location, the staff hops between tables and does all of the cooking for you! You can do it yourself as well, but they will always return to the table to check that everything is going well and continue preparation as needed. This is a perfect location to share some time with family, friends, or a date, but maybe not first date! It can get little messy if you are wrapping the beef in the lettuce provided with the other sides. This was graciously recommended by a staff member, and really took the flavor and experience to the next level. I can only go up to 5 stars, but would definitely give more if I could!

First timer.. walking in, sized it up to be like a hole in the wall place..but as soon as you walk in, you realize how expensive the dining area is. Tables consist of something that looks like large steel bowls slightly tilted lids, and large venting apparatus. Menu has quite a few options, but we opted for the $46 all you can eat option. We were a bit nervous because we didn't know how everything worked (youd think it would be simple - 'all you can eat').. basically, you order what you want to be cooked, they bring it, then they cook it table-side for you. We started with the regular sounding stuff to cook( brisket, spicy ribeye, hanger, steak, etc).. all were fabulous.. but then we got adventurous and tried the other stuff, and quickly wished we had started with this first. Other stuff consisted of pork jowl, pork belly, marinated pork short ribs, spicy pork skin, spicy pork Short ribs.. omg.. these latter meats are to die for. If I had realized this, I would have saved space for multiple orders l ! ! Everything came out so fast, so not much wasted waiting time.. I am definitely looking forward to coming back to New York sooner (last time was 3 years ago ! !) and coming back to this place ! ! !

Two people, with a bottle of soju, can dine here for $120. Ish. Is it the best quality? No. But, it’s not bad. And you got an hour to get full. AF. The standard menu dinner was $47(technically, $46.99, but we’re not idiots). I personally don’t think the Signature option is worth it. Lunch is the real move at $30 during the week & $37 on the weekends. Ends at 3pm. The marinated meats hit. All the meat options were solid. I don’t think it’s lower in quality than the other standard BBQ spots in the area- Miss Korea for example is not better. The service here is really efficient. There’s one who goes around and just refills ban chan, one was refilling waters and dipping sauces, the server cooking the food was on it, regardless of managing three other tables. Their whole process is tight and just a well oiled machine. They’re also much younger (20s & 30s mostly) than other spots. I don’t think there was one 40 year old there & they all spoke English well. They were also very fast. 💨 Overall, it’s a good bang for your buck and a good midweek date spot. It’s not the best, far from the worst and certainly can be a part of the monthly rotation.

The restaurant specializes in an All-You-Can-Eat (AYCE) format, giving your group the freedom to explore an extensive menu featuring a wide variety of meats—including beef, pork, and chicken—prepared right at your tabletop grill. This participatory cooking style naturally sparks conversation and bonding, as everyone gets involved in grilling and sampling different flavors together. The quality is surprisingly high for AYCE, with customers frequently praising the marinated pork short ribs, beef brisket, and the pork belly, all tender and flavorful. Additionally, the welcoming and attentive staff enhance the overall experience, making sure your group can relax, enjoy, and keep the meat coming without hassle. If you're looking for a lively venue where food, fun, and friendship coalesce seamlessly, Let’s Meat BBQ in Koreatown is an ideal rallying point for your next meetup.

What makes Let's Meat BBQ perfect for group gatherings? First, its format is inherently social. Unlike traditional dining, where meals are served from kitchen to table, here guests cook their own selections on built-in grills right at the table. This hands-on approach encourages engagement, sizzling conversation, and shared discovery of favorite dishes or sauces. The restaurant accommodates groups of various sizes comfortably, which is perfect for both family reunions and friend meetups. The pricing structure being AYCE also removes the stress of ordering for everyone—your party can simply order multiple rounds of different meats, sides, and accompaniments, allowing everyone to try what they love or experiment with new flavors. The menu includes a diverse roster of beef cuts—ranging from thin-sliced ribeye to brisket—marinated pork short ribs, thick pork belly slices, and tasty chicken selections that have received accolades from regulars. Pair this meat variety with several dipping sauces and fresh sides, and you have a dynamic culinary playground for the group. The space is lively but well managed, with staff attentive to refill orders and assist at every step, ensuring your meetup runs smoothly without delays or frustrations.

What activities can you enjoy at Let's Meat BBQ besides eating? While the primary activity revolves around grilling and savoring an array of premium meats, the experience is naturally interactive and entertaining, especially when shared with a group. The communal grilling creates a mini-event at each table where guests take turns grilling, taste-testing, and recommending favorites, which can be a fun bonding experience. The restaurant also offers seasonal themed drinks and Korean fried chicken dishes known as "pon chon," which diversify the eating experience beyond just barbecue. For groups who enjoy pairing their meals with beverages, these options add variety and keep energy high throughout a long, relaxed dinner. Beyond dining, the location, nestled in New York City's vibrant Koreatown, means you can turn your visit into an extended outing—perhaps pairing your dinner with a walk to nearby attractions or another group activity close by. The mixture of good food, interactive cooking, lively atmosphere, and convenient location makes Let's Meat BBQ not just a restaurant but a hub for social connection and memorable gatherings.

How does Let's Meat BBQ handle group service and convenience? The restaurant prides itself on attentive customer service tailored for groups, with many reviewers noting the positive experiences with servers who keep the barbecue flowing smoothly. Staff members are described as super attentive and obliging, which is critical in a venue where multiple rounds of food and drink orders require efficient coordination. This combination makes it perfect for celebrations like birthdays, casual get-togethers, or even an after-work hangout.

Why do the quality and selection of meats at Let's Meat BBQ stand out? Unlike many AYCE establishments where quantity overshadows quality, Let's Meat BBQ maintains a high standard that's reflected in the consistent praise from diners. Cuts like beef brisket and marinated beef ribeye are often highlighted for their tenderness and well-balanced flavors, with marinades that include sweet soy sauce bases, garlic, and ginger enriching the overall taste profile. The pork selections, including thick-cut pork belly and short ribs, offer a good balance of rich, fatty cuts and marinated varieties, giving different textures and flavor intensities to please every palate. Chicken dishes and other non-Korean fried chicken options add variety for groups with diverse preferences. Sides and dipping sauces complement the meats perfectly, offering a full sensory experience. The option to order multiple dishes in rounds means diners can pace their meal and sample widely, ensuring everyone leaves satisfied. The combination of quality, variety, and value for money is a key reason why groups keep returning.

How does Let’s Meat BBQ create an enjoyable atmosphere for your group? The restaurant’s ambiance strikes a balance between energetic and comfortable, making it suitable for lively conversations or relaxed meals. The interactive nature of Korean barbecue encourages socialization around the grill, helping downplay the sometimes sterile feel of typical restaurants. The modern décor with traditional Korean touches adds cultural authenticity without overwhelming the vibe. Background music and the general bustle from other diners generate an enjoyable buzz without crossing into chaotic territory, ideal for enjoying your meal and company. The space accommodates varying group sizes effectively, with tables designed for communal grilling and large parties. This setup helps maintain an inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels involved. Special occasions like birthdays have been celebrated here successfully, reinforcing the place as a versatile venue for memorable social events.
