Here's what people think of LifeWorks
As of recent, LifeWorks holds a 3.8-star rating based on 60 reviews.
User reviews of LifeWorks present a mixed but insightful view of the company. Many employees appreciate the remote working options, which contribute positively to their work-life balance. Positive feedback highlights a client-oriented culture where management is seen as supportive by some, and the overall workplace environment is noted for allowing rapport-building with clients. The companyâs engagement in social responsibility and diverse initiatives also garners praise. However, negative reviews point out challenges including organizational disarray, low wages, stressful metric-heavy workloads, and reportedly poor management practices in some departments. Some users have experienced burnout and concerns over job security and advancement opportunities. There are reports of clique-based coworker dynamics and dissatisfaction with benefits like sick leave policies. Despite these critiques, LifeWorks has a solid base of employees who view it as a great place to work, with around 84% positive ratings compared to typical companies. This suggests that while there are areas for improvement, LifeWorks provides a largely supportive and valued work environment for many of its staff and clients.

LANDLORDS BE CAREFUL - We have worked with several companies that help place at risk individuals into housing. We are all fully aware of the risks associated with doing so. In the past we have housed several individuals through Caritas etc - this time Lifeworks presented us with an applicant. We were happy to assist them. Here is the problem. As soon as the tenant they vouched for left the program, they no longer felt obligated to be involved. Now we're faced with eviction, court costs, clean up and lost rent all for a tenant that would not have accepted if not for the Lifeworks recommendation. Technically they did not co-sign the lease - so legally they are not responsible. However the tenant would not have been accepted without their involvement. I don't want other landlords to go into a relationship without knowing.

The organization is amazing!! Unfortunately, the manager at one of the locations (John) let's a refrigerator issue carry on over months causing a young mother to constantly throw away groceries she just put in her refrigerator. A quick fix is what's been the method and has caused so much food loss. Being a mother with an infant isn't easy and having the property manager sweep it under the rug is so sad. Hopefully this review will get to the right person who can help get this problem resolved.

They donât work with you. They are highly unprofessional. You ask for their help and they turn you down. I would recommend another agency . Iâve dealt with this agency for a couple years and they are not very understanding. I had a major death in my family and also had some circumstances during COVID-19 and basically wouldnât help me. All im saying is a sincere agency would be there to help its people in any given situation especially during this national pandemic weâre in. Its very disheartening

Whatever lady works at the front desk to answer the phone is probably the worst person you can talk to if you need help. She doesn't seem to know anything about lifeworks and will refuse to transfer you to someone who can. Definitely do something about this, countless of times I've had the same issue.
