Attended a soft opening of Limestone, the Cambria hotel's 16th floor lounge, with terrific views of Town Lake and East Austin. Who knew watching I35 traffic and planes flying into the airport could be so entertaining. The cocktail and food options we tried were fantastic. We had the Roasted Butternut Squash, Sweet & Spicy Shrimp Flatbread, and the Roasted Octopus. All were top notch but the Octopus and how it was prepared was particularly delicious. The Grapes of Wrath cocktail was refreshing without being too sweet and the Deja Brew was one of the best Espresso Martini I've had; so smooth. The layout was great with large semi-circle couches seating at least 8 guests. You wouldn't feel cramped where ever you sat. Service was great. Hunter took great care of us.

Santa’s secret: a bit too sweet but good The Ziki: really good Grapes of Wrath: meh, a couple of reviews recommended it, so I decided to give it a try, it was bitter for my taste Yellow snow: it is good but nothing special Peppermint Patty: it tasted like peppermint Zucchini fritters: it was ok. It looked and kind of tasted like falafel instead of zucchini, it was plain, could’ve used some seasoning. The sauce was excellent though Ahi Crudo: meh, it didn’t taste fresh at all and the sauce was salt bitter water, not curry by any means Roasted butternut squash: excellent! So many good flavors and well seasoned Roasted octopus: a hair chewy but very well seasoned and delicious Braised beef cheeks: very moist, it melts in your mouth I will definitely give them another try.

Went to try the food and Cocktails served and we were not disappointed! The roasted butternut squash was extraordinary with the taste! We took a Mediterranean margarita and Grapes of wrath cocktail. Both were great! Definitely a must to stop by and enjoy the Limestone lounge.

We had booked reservations for Valentine's Day and the place was so off putting and disappointing. Very empty and I can see why. The overall service was disorganized, no one to seat us (was open seating but didn't know,) they were heavily understaffed, none of the tables were cleared and cleaned off, and the waiting was horrendous. We ended up walking out and decided not to even bother. The website gave extremely misleading expectations. Gorgeous place but poorly run.
