Circus Quixote was so good! A whimsical tale told with such whimsy. The cast was fantastic and so talented. Having seen Don Quixote as a play, musical, and opera, this was by far my favorite rendition with such a truth to the characters. The acrobatics, musical elements, set design, costuming, and of course acting were all on point. Bravo! This has put Lookingglass on the map for me as a theatre I hope to come back to many more times.

We saw Circus Quixote while visiting Chicago. The venue is perfect for theater. The writing/story was top tier. Acting was excellent. Music and singing was excellent. Set design and stage production was well done. The performance was so funny that we were still laughing hours later when someone would bring up moments from the play. The only negative is that if someone went to the show for the mind blowing spectacle of a circus act, they will be disappointed. When I think of circus, I immediately think of Cirque du Soleil. This is not that. The circus portion of the performance felt a bit forced and underwhelming. The show was beautifully executed. There were always little moments happening throughout each scene. My teenage daughter, a difficult critic, said that she would absolutely love to go back.

What a fantastic theater! I saw my first production here tonight (Circus Quixote) and everything was wonderful from the moment we entered the space. The theater itself is open and inspiring. The front of house team is awesome (bar staff, ticketing staff, and coat check). The show itself was inspiring and high caliber. We are excited to continue seeing shows at this theater! Congrats to the cast and crew of Circus Quixote. What they do in a two and a half hour span is truly humbling!

I thought Lucy and Charlie’s Honeymoon included Snoopy, boy was I wrong! What a great play and performance, great current day story line, acting and I hope the cast gets together and performs as a band! Musical, not a typical musical. Best performance cast and story I have seen in years! 💃 Bar, accessory restrooms.
