Loved this place. I went there to browse second hand clothes and found so many items. And, surprisingly, there’s a lil cafe inside. Everything feels cared for and kept in order. (Side note - that is the cutest establishment bathroom I’ve ever seen). Wish I could go again, but I’m aboard.

Absolutely will not be returning to this thrift store. I experienced something I never thought I would yet it happened. While shopping with a family, I overheard the staff making inappropriate and disrespectful comments about us. They assumed we didn’t understand because we were speaking Spanish. When I finally spoke up and said, “I understand everything you’re saying,” the tone shifted and they became defensive. At that point, we left all the clothes we had planned to buy and walked out. I refuse to support a store where discrimination and ignorance are tolerated. The staff should seriously reconsider what they say around customers, you never know who understands you.

It feels good to shop at a place you know will benefit a women’s shelter. It’s also fun to search for treasure at a thrift shop. My girlfriend found a mint-condition Valentino pant suit for $100 that fit her almost perfectly—and it was only $75 because we were shopping on a Monday. Lotus House has been around for almost 15 years, and it’s nice to see a non-chain thrift shop thrive.

After I found out lotus house helps woman and children in need and homeless I felt really good to donate ALL clothings from my 2 kids from baby clothes until 18 months. All the red boxes showing in this picture! All high quality and not cheap! Now my husband who dropped the clothing had to put it outside like this like trash!!! I have had tears in my eyes packing all of these with all the beautiful memories attached to it. In my hearth happy to give it to woman in need. I feel like the way my husband had to leave it and the cold way I was treated when I called the place asking about this makes me cringe! Lady said have a nice day and hang up on me. I could have go and find family’s in need myself elsewhere. Never again.
