I really wanted to love this place because the reviews are great, but this was not a great experience. I had an appointment at 1pm and at 1:01 got a call from the salon asking if I was coming to my appointment. I’d totally understand a call if I were 5+ minutes late, but I was literally just parking the car and ended up walking in at 1:03. And then they asked if I would be okay waiting 15 minutes, which would be fine except why did you call me at 1:01? Then the actual manicure was pretty painful. I ended up with 3 bloody cuticles (and no comment from the tech about it) and the UV light was so painful on my nails and skin that I had to pull my hands out each time to let the pain subside. I’ve been getting my nails done for years and never experienced pain like that. The tech never asked if I liked the color and seemed to rush through the appointment. It was scheduled for an hour and a half, and I was out of the chair in under an hour. To top it off, there are tiny bumps in my nails (maybe dust?) For $100 (Russian manicure with chrome), this was a really disappointing experience. The pro was free sparkling water and a good location. The few smooth and not bloody nails look great.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I’ve never gotten up and left in the middle of a manicure until I visited this place. I left bleeding on 5 different fingers because the nail tech had headphones in and her phone propped up watching a show while she was doing my nails. She burned the top of my nails off the drill using the drill so rough. She dug into my cuticles so deep during my “Russian” manicure. And then used cuticle nippers to hack away the awful job she did filing them back. As I was leaving, they asked if I’ve had Russian manicures before and told me this is how it always is. I’ve had many from different techs and salons in the city and never left bleeding and in pain. Avoid this place at all costs if you want to have nails left at the end of your appointment. I made a last minute appointment at my regular salon and they managed to finish my manicure and fix some of the damage done. Nail tech was Mery.
