This place could have potential, yet the service could have been better and the food was just decent. I should have known what to anticipate when the individual seating us appeared too preoccupied with his phone to even say hello and just said “follow me”. In the end, you ought to expect your experience here to be closer to what you receive when eating at fast food restaurants, considering the service I received was comparable to that of Chipotle. Simply because of the poor service and disappointing drinks, I would give it a rating of 4 out of 10. It's odd that these establishments still demand tips despite their lack of service. I advise, don’t order a cocktails nor corn bread, you will be disappointed. You won’t see me there again.

A solid seafood boil spot with a laid-back vibe and semi self-serve setup - grab a table, order at the counter, and the food will be brought right to your table. The food is generally good quality - the shrimp peels easily, while the crab leans a bit on the smaller side and requires some effort to crack open but is worth the effort. The combos also come with flavorful sides like corn, potatoes, and jalapeño cornbreads. There’s a range of flavors and spice levels to choose from, with the spicier options being especially garlicky and bold. Overall, a fun and satisfying choice for seafood lovers who don’t mind getting hands-on with their meal.

One of my favorite seafood places in Chicago! The whole experience is unique- right from how the food is served to variety of sea food and to the portion sizes. They also give you disposable gloves and aprons so you can focus on the food and not the spills ;) One combo is good for two and you can either go all in for the largest combo if you are a bigger group or pick a smaller combo and add seafood of choice by the pound like mussels, shrimp etc or clusters of crab. The cornbread served is also super yummy. We chose the garlic sauce which was very delicious. One thing to note is the food is slightly on the saltier side so if you should stay away from high salt food, this is not the place. For everyone else, do check this out and be prepared to tickle your taste buds with some yummy food. And btw if you think you can wrap up your meal in a ‘ dignified/ sophisticated manner’ , forget it and I say that in a good way. This is a place where you will look messy , food will spill over especially with the crab legs and you will discover a new side to yourself. But the experience is worth it and you will thoroughly enjoy it- I did!! They also make some good cocktails. I tired the margarita and it was super yummy.

I ordered a payday combo and added a lobster tail and once I opened my bag I noticed my lobster tail wasn't in there,I was very upset I kept calling knowing they were closed that shit isn't cheap 😭 and I guess we need to start weighing the food ourselves I definitely didn't have a full pound of shrimp 🍤 Update* I ordered another payday combo and asked if the missing lobster tail from the previous order be added and they said yes, so as I opened the lobster tail up it was barely lobster inside it,like the really took some out of it or it was just bad but I've been ordering from them for a while and I've never received a lobster tail like this, then I taste it,it was really soft like it went bad or something, idk if they're being spiteful and mad about the first complaint I made and call themselves teaching me a lesson but I'll definitely be making my way on Wabash.

Hype was better than the food. Too much $ for the portion sizes as well. Sauces are way too thick. Staff are zombies walking around. NOTE: they charge a bogus credit card fee of 3.75% and then show you a sign showing you why. So stupid. No one carries $200 in cash (which is avg dinner for 2). Either build it into your costs or get rid of it - will not return.
