Attended LPR on a Sunday, following some happy hour, to catch Sun Voyager opening for Castle Rat. I realized it had been nearly ten years since my last visit! The venue remains a solid spot for shows. The atmosphere was great for live music. Bar service was straightforward; sticking to the $10 draft beers is a safe bet. Gender-neutral bathrooms were a plus, and the schedule allowed for plenty of time to enjoy both bands. Overall, LPR is a no-fuss venue.

It's truly one of the best places to see and hear your favorite artist up close, where the line between music and revelation disappears. This venue is super cute! The bartenders were nice and gave tap water when I asked. Convenient seating is placed throughout the venue. The crowd happened to be super polite for the show I went to which was Daisy Grenade and Honey Revenge. The security was also very polite about the crowd surfers going on to the stage, they helped them safely get on and off the stage.

I attended a wonderful concert here the other week with sleepytime gorilla museum (with Spotlights opening). The venue was very nice and laid back. Coat check was cheap. No issue going back up for a quick cig. The bathroom were some of the cleanest but I mightve lucked out using them early. Although the choice of couches right in front of the restrooms leaves one to quieting the Feng shui of the place and who thought that's where people would want to take a load off their feet. The bartenders were nice and attentive and drinks weren't atrociously priced. Again sleepytime put on and phenomenal show. From start to finish the lights sound, everything coalesce perfectly to draw you into there gutteral, Ephemeral, fantasmagoria of sound. How blessed am I to see them 2 years in a row on the east coast. And LPR was a great venue to bear witness for the second time.

Although I don't go to live venues as much, LPR was a lot of fun! It's definitely spacious enough to not feel jammed in, and the staff were very friendly. Both performances were fantastic (tribute bands to The Cure and The Smiths). Great sound, lighting, and overall vibe. I'll definitely come back here for another live event!
