We stopped by this store and got a couple of books. They have a large selection and the books are reasonably-priced for used books. The aisles are a little tight so there were some times that we went to a different area while waiting for someone to move out of the area we wanted to check out, but that's okay! They have bookmarks available in several colors, which was awesome because we got to pick out our favorite colors while having a small, free, Seattle keepsake. The person working was very nice! I definitely think that this is a spot worth checking out.

Can’t kick it at Starbucks cause of the strike? We’ll look no further and grab a dope book. A fantastic selection of graphic novels, non fiction, and stellar literature. So much knowledge & culture packed in one room you’d think the staff couldn’t fit there. And yet they come with patient and intellectual service to a city filled with bookstores, magus stands out!

I was genuinely disappointed by my experience. I was looking through donated books for a course on Ancient Chinese Literature during the Tang Dynasty when a staff member approached me and told me I was being “excessive.” She then said I wasn’t allowed to look at the books anymore simply because they were donated. I was respectful and quiet, just trying to find materials for my class. Preventing someone from accessing educational resources is unacceptable, especially in a space that should support learning. Unfortunately, that interaction left a negative impression, and I won’t be returning.
