Went to meet a friend and kids here after a youth league basketball tournament. The service was slow but the two ladies tag teaming to serve us were nice. This was my first time here and probably my last. Watched a man and his kids sit at the bar area with no problem. He was even served beverages (soda pop) for them. He sat next to me so I witness this first hand. The female serving him took his food order. They waited for at least 25-30 minutes on the food. When this man and his kids were served their food, the female server told him they couldn't sit there and to go find a table. 😳😳😳 He was so upset and I understood because it was over 45 minutes they were sitting there and being served. My friends kids were also standing near us going back and forth in the building. It wasn't handle appropriately. When someone wo looked like management came over, they still failed at providing good customer service. The asked the police to come over and ask us to move after I complained about what was happening. None of us were rude not even the man they made move. The police man was gentle and just said "Would y'all mind just moving over that way a little. Please. Thank you." He had more sense of service than the employees! I gave feedback per the receipt and NOTHING transpired from that. Go figure, right? 🤣

I had a birthday party here for about 25 kids. They were so accommodating. Fernando our party host took care of us. Even the manager at the toy shop, Dulz was very helpful and has a great attitude and magnificent customer service. I will definitely return and recommend Main Event to friends and family. Thank you all so much for making our day great and non forgettable.

We played games and bowled during our visit. One of the games took our credits but didn’t work. The first employee I spoke with said he would return to fix it, but he never came back. A second employee directed me to another person; fortunately, that person quickly adjusted the credits without issue. The bowling experience itself was pleasant. The bowling area was clean, the lanes worked properly, and setting up our names was easy. However, our experience ordering food was frustrating. I approached three different staff members as they passed our lane; each said they couldn’t help and promised someone else would come—but nobody did. A fourth employee also promised assistance and then suggested we walk to the bar to order ourselves. At that point, I asked to speak with the manager. Daniel, the manager, came over promptly. When I explained the situation, he acknowledged that they were short staffed. Which didn’t seem to be an issue there were plenty of staff walking around doing nothing. I saw one by the lanes in a corner eating. Nevertheless, Daniel redeemed the experience. He took our food and drink order himself and even provided a great drink recommendation for the kids. The food and drinks arrived faster than I expected. He checked on us a few times, and when we were ready to leave, he quickly brought the check and a box for our food. Overall service rating: Daniel deserves a 5/5 for his attentiveness, professionalism, and effort to turn the situation around. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff provided service closer to a 1.5/5, as they repeatedly deflected responsibility rather than helping.

Went to see Sinners (great movie, by the way — 10/10 would recommend repenting after), and Main Event AMC did not disappoint. The theater was clean, the vibes were right, and the popcorn was so good I briefly considered marrying it. The seats? Reclined like they had nowhere to be. Sound and picture were crisp — not a fuzzy frame in sight. Even the crowd was on their best behavior (zero talkers, zero texters — hallelujah). Plenty of parking, which is always a win when you’re running late and pretending you’re not. Theater was big enough to feel cinematic, but small enough to not need a GPS to find your seat. All in all, a solid movie night. Good snacks, great screen, no sinners in the snack line. I’ll be back.
