My daughter and I had an amazing experience at we start creating! The class was engaging, well structured, and catered perfectly to all skill levels. The instructors were patient, encouraging, and made learning fun, fostering, creativity, and connection. We both left feeling inspired and proud of what we created together. I highly recommend this class for anyone looking to explore their artistic side in a welcoming environment.

My daughter absolutely loved the sticker camp with Tory. The camp space is thoughtfully designed and well-equipped with a huge variety of supplies, machines and tools, to create so many things (including a popcorn machine!). The camp was engaging and structured enough to teach new skills, but also flexible and spontaneous to offer opportunities to work with other mediums, as well as spending time outside. My daughter had the best time and came away with some really cool work. We’d both recommend Tory and Make Art PDX to anyone looking to create!

This is such a great camp for young artists! Our daughter attended the sticker making and drawing classes this summer. Tory’s wealth of knowledge and love of teaching was apparent throughout both courses. Our daughter came home every day with new skills, stories, and projects to share. It was great to see how her creativity and individuality was embraced, celebrated, and explored in such a positive and supportive environment. The blending of traditional art media and digital technology was so fun and a big feature that stands apart from other art camps in the Portland area. We will be back next summer!

My kids just came home from the last day of the Drawing Art Camp, and they absolutely loved every minute of it! They had so much fun experimenting with colors, learning to layer pencils, markers, and especially digging into the digital tools. What really stood out was how the camp focused on capturing emotion and movement, rather than perfection. My kids got to explore their creativity without worrying about making everything "perfect." They came home with so many new techniques and ideas to try, and I can see how much they've grown as artists. Overall, I couldn't be happier with their experience. They came back every day proud of their work and ready to share it with us. I highly recommend this camp!

Tory has been generous enough to repeatedly visit my classroom of third graders to discuss her craft. This was especially appreciated when she met us on zoom during the time of abysmal distance learning! Tory always immediately established a rapport with the students and took the time to patiently answer all their questions. She was able to present the information in a way that made it accessible for all learners, while also making it engaging and fun. Don’t miss the opportunity to learn from this deeply skilled artist!
