The kids are off at college and it’s time to find some new activities to fill the time previously occupied with athletic & instrumental music events. Classes at Maker Works are going to fill some of that time. I recently used how to use InkSpace and the laser cutters while attending the Laser Project Track. Marty & Nova were great instructors; knowledgeable, helpful & patient. I loved the class and booked time on the lasers during the week to practice and work on projects of my own. In class we made a ruler, etched a drinking glass and made a jigsaw puzzle from a photo we brought from home. Mine turned out so well that I was able to give them as gifts. On my own, I etched some slate coaster, made children’s puzzles (a dinosaur themed one and a dress up doll puzzle), made pieces for a table too strategy game (W4K) and a few other things. Everyone at Maker Works was really nice & helpful. I highly recommend trying one of their classes, or better yet, a Track. You won’t be disappointed.

I am beyond grateful for Maker Works! They repaired a cherished childhood present I received over 20 years ago—something I thought would never work again. After searching all over Michigan for someone who could fix it, I finally came across Maker Works!
