Even 5 stars are not enough for this beautiful spot in Austin. The one only sad part is the lake is drying quicker than we think. You can even walk on the middle of the lake..Great place for family gathering and make sure little kids have life jackets if you intend to let them play on the water.. my daughter was thrilled.. and oh yes the customer service was great and they accept cash or even check.. guess what we didn’t have any cash on us but we managed a check .. Awesome !! We will be back !! Cheers Long Live lake Travis…..

I really enjoyed it but I do have to thank the man and his family for helping me launch I have a small suv that can’t quite get the ski in the water making it difficult for one person that’s pretty new to the sport. I also have to apologize for not knowing how to help his family in return. Sorry I was to busy trying to help myself and I would have been in the way for sure.

Boat ramp opened Sunday! Water is high enough for lake access. Bathrooms fixed, lots of trailer parking. Courtesy dock still broken and roped off. More water coming lots of room yet. Did I mention the boat ramps are open?

Couldn’t find a spot at first but everyone gathered at the boat dock didn’t seem safe so we went to the left of the boat dock and found a nice open area to set up camp and hopped in ! Water felt great but beware of rocks . Great views !!!
