Free parking but you need to scan a QR code and use a kiosk machine at the grocery store Marianos to get it validated for a free 2 hours of parking. Fresh fruit and veges and lots of items here. It’s clean and staff are nice. It’s convenient for tourists also bc it’s right near the magnificent mile…About 3-4 blocks. Outdoor seating is nice also.

This market has everything!!! Fresh hot food offerings, salad bar, gift items, fresh flowers, small plants, etc.. They have a wonderful selection of items and decent prices for its location. Two floors, with an elevator and escalator. It's a pretty large store, electric carts are available for those with mobility issues.

Update. Mariano's has hired some quality staff. One of the biggest challenges are their staff "running over" customers to get around the store, instead of stopping instantly and waiting for the customers to pass. Amazingly... some of the staff is now doing that. It's wonderful. It's classy. It's management's fault. We've seen this place rocking with quality across the board when Megan was manager. So, it's possible with the right leadership. Today... waited 5 minutes for coffee before we left after making two phone calls to customer service. It's nothing new. People are regularly left waiting at the deli and seafood counter. That's just how this place rolls. Worked out okay because The Drunken Cafe, down the hill, is a real coffee shop packed with people, great service and tasty coffee. Still... management comes to work each day and leave the scooter blocking and disturbing the aesthetic look of the entranceway to their store. It truly tells you all you need to know about how the store is run. Megan would have had it moved day one. There are some very good employees at Mariano's, and we are grateful the store is in our neighborhood. But... it could easily be run much better. Overall, the problem is, as it's always been at this location (with one exception, Megan), a low skilled management team. They just don't understand the standards of a higher class of service, much less the training to implement a policy. We can list many examples of conversations, with management's responses proving that point, but this single photo tells it all. This scooter has been abandoned in front of Mariano's doorway for days. A classy management team would have long ago had it moved aside. The professional managers we know would have moved it themselves the moment they saw it. Fact: Attention to detail or the lack thereof is what determines the quality of any management team. This has always been true. ----- Is what it is. But the bathrooms are ALWAYS FILTHY. Always. They have no scheduled cleanings. Not the same system at other Mariano's.

I'm flabbergasted that Mariano's would print a second tag with a 6/24 expiration date over a 6/08 expiration date, creating confusion for customers. 🤔 For reference, I visited the store on 6/09. That bread is one of the most expensive ones. I recognize the store doesn't want to waste valuable inventory, but this confusion just makes customers ever more suspicious.

They have a great selection of Kosher foods. We love this grocery store! Their meat and sea food selection is impressive. They have great sales on their meat. They have a freshly squeezed smoothie counter, fire oven pizza, popcorn, gelato, coffee, breakfast sandwiches, cheese, bakery, salad bar, fresh fried chicken, and a sushi station. I also love the zero sugar options they have. Their beer and wine selection is also great.
