It’s convenient because it’s right up the road from my house, so I’m a little biased. But if you need a quick walk nearby, maybe walk the dog, cool down after work, it’s a simple stroll. 30-45 minutes, maybe? Note that dogs need to be leashed. I’m sorry, it’s not my choice either, but that’s the rules. The dogs I saw on Wednesday were pretty happy anyway.

I like this little nature preserve. Only problem is it's not very big if you want to hike. All the invasives have been removed, so in the spring it's the nicest place when all the trilliums come out. Lots of them, better than Tryons just down the road a bit. Recommended for April and May
