I have shopped here a few times, and have never had any issues. Today though (5/31/25) I was told no handbags are allowed while shopping and to leave it up front, my handbag was a small fanny pack- it is very off putting to be asked to leave your wallet up front (fanny pack had cash and multiple credit cards) I can understand this policy if it were a big bag, backpack etc. But a small fanny pack??!! I'll take my business elsewhere.

This place is AMAZING with regards to the selection of items that can be found here that you won't find anywhere else, ESPECIALLY not at Home Depot or Lowe's. However, I do have to say that their prices are absolutely OUT..... OF..... CONTROL..... HIGH! FOR REAL! Everything I have looked at there can be found other places either in stores or online for at LEAST 1/3 of the price cheaper!!! ZERO exaggeration! The prices are WAY..... WAAAAAYYYYYY HIGH for pretty much everything in the store. If their prices were competitive with anywhere else they'd be my GO TO hardware store. But I just can't afford to go there very often..... It's a shame.... It's a great store..

I had never been here before but the place was full of plenty of tools and other things that I didn't know I didn't need until I saw them.. now I know where to go for tools that I wouldn't regularly look for and hardware that I wouldn't know where else to get. Definitely a good store for a handyman or possibly a contractor.

If I could give it zero stars I would. Brought in a bolt that I needed a matching tap for so I bring in the bolt and am helped at the desk to size the tap and thinking that those who helped me are qualified I left the store 100 bucks poorer. When I get home i slide the tap into the bolt and realize it 1/8 size to small. I call and let them know ten minutes after purchasing it that I need a larger tap and they sized it wrong. Keep in mind i haven’t done anything with the product… it can’t cut what I am trying to tap because it falls through the nut. The manager says he will not take it back under any circumstances. I was willing to buy the larger one knowing it would most likely cost 120 dollars but he said all sales are final even if it was sized wrong by his employees. Suffice it to say I will NEVER EVER return to this store. You lost a customer who has been buying product from you for over 10 years. My company and I will be moving to online store praying to God you go out of business for such insane policies in the modern age.

This is the place to go to find the bits and pieces that you just can't find anywhere else, other than maybe online. The prices are a tad on the high side but then again what's your time worth? Either make it your first stop or your last. Good coverage of both domestic and metric sizes. Just go in and wander around some and be amazed that this resource is in Salt Lake.
