Okay so here's my personal experience here. We came in at 8:50PM on a Monday and they welcomed us well since they close at 10:00PM. 1. Servers were nice and smiley, gave us water, gave my baby some coloring materials but also that night they asked us more or less 20 times "How's the food?" and that was borderline annoying honestly (for the lack of a better term). 2. The complimentary corn dish was okay. Not too rich with flavor. Just seasoned enough. 3. When the female server recommended some dish to us, she leaned half of her body on the small table, (like both forearms folded, leaned and occupied 1/4 of the table) and i just felt she got too comfortable that time. I asked what comes with the braided steak and she said "I don't know" but "that was her recommendation". 🤦🏻‍♀️ She did not go to the back to confirm either. We ended up ordering a repetitive side that's similar with what already came with the breaded steak. lol. We also ordered the Traditional Guacamole (her recommendation again) and it "never came". Towards the end of our meal and after some long patience, I asked her where was it since we did say we would like one, after some exchange, instead of saying they forgot she said, "Oh, I didn't put it on since I wasn't sure if you wanted it." (She could have confirmed with us, just like how they asked us 20 times how was the food.) But we ended up not having it since we just wanted to go. After asking for the check, she showed the receipt and told us "I voided the Traditional Guacamole on the receipt". (Uhmmm.. I thought she said she's never put it on? Why was it voided if it wasn't there on the very first place?) 4. The braided steak was served cold and chewy. The sides were warmer. Steak was seasoned but that was a very sad steak. We never had the heart to say anything more about it. We just wanted to finish the rubbery meat and sides so we don't waste 28usd (entire order was 58usd) and so we can get some gelato across the street. 5. The tamarind margarita was tasty and had good amount of spice. We are not going back sadly.

Amazing place, would recommend! Came the day after the storm since the sidewalks got shoveled and it was one of the few places open. Our server Matia was great, and very helpful with suggestions, and even brought us an appetizer on the house. He recommended the in house coffee which was delicious, and was kind enough to get me some to go on my way out. Great food, great service. Will have to visit again!

I took my oldest child here for her 20th birthday and we were both so glad that we found it! We both have Celiac Disease, so we must eat gluten free. I am also vegan, so finding good Mexican fare that checks both of those boxes can be difficult. This is a new place that opened up downtown recently and has both options available. The waiter was both very friendly and knowledgeable. And if there was a question that he didn't know the answer to, he found out for us. I ended up getting their house margarita (very delicious and actually house made) and the Enchiladas Veganas. The tofu it comes with is both vegan and gluten free and the whole dish was delicious. They brought out a complementary appetizer, which my daughter liked a lot. But since it had cheese on it, the waiter brought it back and had them make me a new one without the cheese. It was delicious and a very nice surprise. Overall, the location, staff and food are wonderful. It is a bit on the pricey side though, so that's something to keep in mind.

True Mexican flavors, not just Tex Mex, are done here with nice presentation and excellent service. I tried the appetizers and the churro, which were all delicious. The cheff clearly went to school for this. The NA drinks are made with actual fruits and taste like it. Didn't try the mezcal but this is clearly the place for a good mexican cocktail. Will be back

Great food. More complex, authentic flavors than typical fare. I'd definitely eat here again. The staff were great as well, and even let me sample a few things!
