Cool pond but fishing is terrible there’s tall grass everywhere that makes lots of spots inaccessible to fish due to line getting snagged and seems to have ZERO bass. Been fishing here for the past 4 days and not even a bite. Got me sitting here throwing a senko all day. IM DESPERATE I NEED TO CATCH A BASS. Also all the times I’ve been here no one is fishing so maybe there is just no fish to be caught anymore idk

Great little pond that's stacked with fish. Only found out about this pond this summer but glad I found out about it. Just be aware that all the jets and aircraft fly overhead so proper PPE might apply to those who aren't used to loud noises. Other than that it's a great place to go fish and relax with the great fish and awesome scenery!

Good pond. It is hit or miss depending upon when you come. It says there is catfish never caught one. Haven’t been catching bass anymore. I think people took them all. It is catch and release only though!!! Please. I plenty of bluegills. Caught 5 the other day and released them back. Watch out for the turtles. They pull your line too.

I love this place, the fishing is just challenging enough that you have to work at it but once you figure out the pattern you can land a few. There's plenty of open bank fishing or you can bring a kayak or float tube to get to the hard to reach places. This was the only fishing lake open during the COVID 19 shutdown and it was the only thing keeping me sane. Make sure you go to the Party and Adventure Recreation Center on base to get your free fishing permit to fish there.
