My friends and I have already gone on two tips with Captain Mike and already have another one booked! Our first trip was to the Coronado islands during the winter, and Mike was able to get us hooked onto three quality yellowtail while other boats in the area were experiencing a slow bite. His expertise really shone through when he transitioned us from jigging to trolling at the best times! We were able to go home with a nice haul of bottom fish (sculpin, rockfish, whitefish, etc..), while also getting to reel in a trophy fish! Mike knows some really productive honey holes that really turn fishing into catching! The boat itself is perfectly designed for fishing - the center console design allows for casting/jigging around the entire length of the boat, and the powerful engines really get you to the fishing spots a lot faster than other boats. The on-board restroom is also clean and well kept! We've all really enjoyed our experience with him and would highly recommend him!

Captain Mike took us out to the Coronado Islands on Saturday 8/21 in comfort, style and speed with plenty of room to move around the whole boat when bringing in the big ones. We had tough day landing fish but Captain Mike with his great attitude, skills and local knowlage was still able to get us on the fish even where other boats seemed to struggled. I would definitely recommend fishing with Silva Scales and Tails Sport fishing and especially Captain Mike. We are already planning our next trip with them.
